Hi, I'm Cynthia Lakareber. I really enjoy reading the Bible and praying. My biggest dream is to become a lawyer one day. I even want to have my own law firm right here in Uganda!

My story

Cynthia Lakareber, a determined first-year law student at Uganda Christian University, is courageously navigating through life's challenges. Raised in a single-parent household, Cynthia, along with her two brothers, is under the loving care of her mother, a dedicated classroom teacher at a local elementary school in Northern Uganda. Despite the hardships faced by families in Northern Uganda due to two decades of wars, Cynthia's mother has been a beacon of resilience, striving to provide for her children amidst difficult circumstances. It is this backdrop that has necessitated Cynthia's inclusion in our program. Cynthia's health is robust, with no significant medical history to note, a testament to her resilience and the care provided by her devoted mother. This young law student's story is one of determination and hope, reflecting the spirit of many in Northern Uganda.

Why Cynthia lakareber needs our help

Cynthia Lakareber requires assistance due to her family's financial constraints. Her mother is unable to fully cover her tuition costs. While the SEVAC Foundation Uganda helps with some functional fees, it's not enough to ensure Cynthia's continuous education. Your support will directly contribute to securing Cynthia's academic future.
