I'm Naume and I really love studying and reading novels. Skipping rope and playing games make me so happy. One day, I dream of becoming a lawyer. I also want to help people who need it the most in vulnerable communities, just like doing charity work.
- Naume

My story

Naume is a bright student currently in her second year of senior school, demonstrating academic prowess and doing well in her studies. She is part of a family of five, residing in the heart of Northern Uganda. Health-wise, Naume is in good shape with no serious medical conditions to report. Her inclusion in our sponsorship program stems from the challenging circumstances faced by many families in Northern Uganda, a region that endured the devastating effects of a war that lasted for over two decades. This historical context has significantly impacted the livelihoods and opportunities available to these families. Naume's parents, known to us, are unfortunately peasant farmers. Their humble occupation does not provide the financial resources necessary for Naume to pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer. Despite their hard work and dedication, they are unable to fully support Naume's academic aspirations, which is why she is part of our program. We believe that with the right support, Naume can overcome these challenges and achieve her dreams.

Why Naume needs our help

Naume urgently requires assistance due to her family's inability to consistently cover her school fees, leading to her sporadic attendance. While the SEVAC Foundation Uganda provides basic necessities such as scholastic materials and food, it's crucial to secure consistent funding for her education to ensure uninterrupted learning.

Sponsor Naume
