I'm Rema and I really love playing football, it makes me so happy! My biggest dream is to become a reverent sister one day. I have a strong desire to serve God.
- Rema

My story

Rema, a vibrant child from Northern Uganda, is part of a family of five, lovingly nurtured by her single mother. She is currently in her fourth year of primary school. Rema's health is robust, a testament to her mother's care, despite their challenging circumstances. Their region, Northern Uganda, has been deeply affected by the Lord's Resistance Army wars that spanned over two decades, leaving many families, like Rema's, in a state of hardship. Rema's mother, a hardworking peasant farmer, strives to provide for her family, but the lingering effects of war make it a daily struggle. Rema's enrollment in our program is a beacon of hope for her and her family in these trying times.

Why Rema needs our help

Rema is in need of support as the SEVAC Foundation Uganda, the organization currently assisting her, only has the resources to provide scholastic materials and food. This means that there are other crucial aspects of her well-being and development not being met. Your sponsorship can help fill these gaps and provide Rema with the comprehensive support she needs.

Sponsor Rema

As a guardian you help Rema and other children within the program of SEVAC Foundation Uganda. Thanks to your contribution and that of the other guardians, the children are helped with proper nutrition, tutoring, sports and personal development. This gives them a chance at a hopeful future.
