I really like playing football. One day, I dream to be a doctor. I want to study medical science.
- Yakobo

My story

Yakobo is a bright young boy who is part of a loving family of five. He is currently in primary four and is thriving academically, demonstrating a sound mind and a strong commitment to his studies. Despite these promising qualities, Yakobo's family faces significant financial challenges that hinder his educational progress. His parents, both of whom are known to us, are hardworking peasant farmers. However, their modest income is barely enough to provide one meal a day for the family, let alone cover Yakobo's school fees. This is why Yakobo is included in our program - to help him pursue his dreams and reach his full potential in school.

Why Yakobo needs our help

Yakobo urgently requires support to complete his education. The SEVAC Foundation Uganda, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on its funding, is currently only able to provide him with scholastic materials and food. Without additional assistance, Yakobo's educational journey could be prematurely halted.
