Sometimes, change starts from the smallest moments. What began as a simple visit from Erik to Serah, Esther’s project in Uganda, grew into something much greater.

My recent trip to Uganda left a profound impact on me: from an unexpected visit to the prison, where I spoke to thousands of inmates, to witnessing young children there – and the inspiring work of Esther, who offers them a chance at a better future.

I am Erik Jager, and my journey began in a world of loneliness. As a child, I grew up without experiencing love and without the attention I needed. My journey brought me closer to God, and with that came the realization that we are here on Earth to make a difference for one another through connection and love. This understanding led me to an encounter that not only changed my life, but also the lives of many others.
